How much of my donation goes to those in need?

Seaside Rotary is made up of Rotary members who donate their time.
All overhead or administrative costs are paid out of Rotary membership dues so that 100% of every dollar donated goes directly to helping those in need.
Rotary members work hard to receive donates goods and services for fundraisers. Any expenses after donations are extremely mininal, if any. All 100% of funds raised, minus any (if any) minimal expenses, are then applied to the Seaside Rotary project.
Is my donation tax deductible?
Is Seaside Rotary a 501(C)3 or a Mexico Non Profit?
Not yet. Seaside Rotary does not have a US equivalent and thus, cannot have a 501c3 status. Mexico non-profit status is in progress and is a very complex and lengthy process.
To help Seaside Rotary when a tax deductible receipt is required, please donate directly to KKIS. KKIS (Keep Kids in School) is the Scholarship organization started by Seaside Rotary's founder - Gayle Collins - that receives the Scholarship funds raised by Seaside Rotary. KKIS is a United States 501(C)(3) and a Mexico Donataria Autorizada. (If you require a Mexican tax-deductible factura, please contact KKiS directly at info@kkisproject.org BEFORE making a donation.)
Can I donate Cash?
We happily accept cash donations in Mexican pesos, US dollars or Canadian dollars.
Cash can be donated in person at Club Meetings, any fundraising, volunteer or social event or a Seaside Rotary member can meet you at your location in / around Playa del Carmen on a day and time that works for you.

Can I donate by credit card? Am I required to have a PayPal account?
We use PayPal and all credit cards are accepted. PayPal no longer requires you to create an account. Click on “Donate With Debit or Credit Card” and enter your information.
Can I donate by check?
We can no longer accept checks due to Mexico banking laws.
Can I donate by Venmo/Zelle?
Venmo and Zelle are not available in Mexico at this time.
Can I donate by Bank to Bank / Wise?

Can I donate by wire transfer?
Please complete the Wire Transfer form to initiate the process for all wire transfers.
Because there are different Mexico and International laws based upon the amount of funds being wired and the originating country / entity type submitting the wire transfer, Seaside Rotary must handle all wire transfers manually to collect the required information before receiving the funds.
