Donations of every kind are welcome at Seaside Rotary! Please see below for services and supplies that are are most helpful for our current fundraisers and projects. We're happy to find a way to use any service or supply - either with existing projects and partners or with other groups in the community. Contact Us to get started.
Most Needed - Fundraiser Prizes
We are always in need of prizes for our fundraisers! Anything is appreciated!
Ideas for prizes that have been well received in the past:
- Gift cards of all kinds - restaurants, day passes to beach clubs, spa services, golf, food and drink products, other products or services
- Dog / Dog owner themed prizes for our Yappy Hours - leashes, treats, services, toys
- Gift baskets / Items to put into a gift basket - wines, snacks/goodies, kitchen gadgets
Most Needed - Hospital / Holiday Gifts
During Mexican holidays, Club Members take gifts to children who are inpatient at the General Hospital of Playa del Carmen.
We are always in need of these items:
- Boy, girl, and unisex gifts for all ages - art / sticker books, toys, etc.
- All gifts should be new.
- Activities should be doable while in bed / using a hospital tray.
- Please do not include food/drink as there may be medical restrictions.
- Items to fill a basic necessities bag for caregivers - toothbrush, toothpaste, comb, shampoo, soap, deodorant, snack, puzzle book to pass the time, small bag to contain the items.
- Many children and their caregivers end up at the General Hospital by emergency and do not have these items with them.
- The hospital does not have these items on hand to give to caregivers.
- These caregivers are indigent and do not have the funds to go purchase them, transportation or cannot leave the child's side.
- Clothing. Many children and adults arrive at the hospital under emergency circumstances. Children and adult clothing is not salvageable in many cases and there are no funds to purchase replacement clothes.
Tiny Hearts
- Clean glass jars with lids for breast milk storage.
- Refrigerant gel packs to keep jarred breast milk cold.
- Items listed under Most Needed - Hospital / Holiday Gifts are helpful year round.
- Disposable infusion pump tubing. Contact Us for tubing specifications.
Feeding the Future
The schools and communities served by Feeding the Future can always use:
- Dry milk powder (new, unopened, unexpired)
- Pots, Pans, Cookware and cooking/serving utensils,
- Disposable paper products for serving prepared food to the children (plates, bowls, cutlery, napkins)
- Cleaning Products - paper towels, dish soap
- Non Perishable Food - unexpired/unopened spices and condiments, unexpired / unopened dry goods (like crackers, pasta), canned fruits and vegetables.
Kicks4Kids
- Bilingual volunteers on shoe delivery days (to help with fitting issues)
- Foot measurer in Mexico shoe sizers (to use on site when reported size doesn't match child's foot)
- New tennis shoes / socks for donation. Sizes Needed
Scholarships
Seaside Rotary partners with KKIS for school supplies and scholarships.
- Professional and Trades personnel to mentor and/or provide internships.
- All kinds of general office and business services (accounting, taxes, printing, marketing etc) are appreciated!

- Solar chargers
Clean Water
- Water system experts - purchasing, installing, maintaining
- Garafons (20 gallon plastic jugs)
- Supplies to help with securing the system (sheds, padlocks, etc.)
