The Rotary Club of Playa del Carmen Seaside’s 8th annual Riviera Maya Cook-Off was an overwhelming success!
The competition was fierce this year and the numbers were very close but, in the end, three chili chefs came out on top! Congratulations go out to our winning chefs, Seaside Rotarian Susan Hawley (third), Pete Harrison & Oscar Bravo Camposeco (second) and our Grand Champion, Michael Giller from Akumal.
Thank you to all of our talented Chefs/Chef Teams and each of the 130 people who came to taste and judge. Thank you to all the Rotary organizers and volunteers and to everyone who donated prizes for our winning chefs. As always, a massive thanks to Jim and the tireless staff at Restaurant Latitude 20º +/-! You all made it look easy and so much fun for everyone.
With your support, we raised a heap of money which will help to fund our community programs such as our Clean Water Projects, ¨Kicks4Kids¨ and ¨Feeding the Future¨!
