Seaside Rotary Needs Volunteers – How Can You Help?
Throughout the year, the Rotary Club of Playa del Carmen Seaside presents special events to raise funds for its various ongoing community projects. We often reach out to the community to assist us and lend a hand to help make these events a success! Our volunteers outside of the active club membership are called ‘Friends of Rotary’ and their contributions are invaluable to our efforts.
In addition to our fundraisers, the club is often called upon for service projects in the community. Depending on the scope of the project, extra hands may be needed. This could be anything from painting murals for a school library, cleaning a local playground, administering hepatitis screening tests or assisting at a pop-up dental clinic in the jungle.
As a volunteer, you have an opportunity to discover and develop valuable skills, enhance your understanding of diverse cultures and societal issues, and establish networks with passionate individuals worldwide. This personal growth goes hand-in-hand with the sense of satisfaction and purpose derived from making a difference.
