The Fundraising Committee for Rotary Club of Playa del Carmen Seaside held a bazaar and clothing swap to raise much-needed funds for “Feeding the Future”, our ongoing nutritional support program for the children in Torres de la Paz in Playa del Carmen.
Currently, our club is providing 70 children with healthy, nutritious meals twice a day, 3 days a week at a cost of $1,200 USD per month. Your support of Seaside Rotary fundraising events is crucial to our ability to maintain this important community program.
The event was hosted by Seaside Rotarian Jim Stubbs at his restaurant, Latitude 20 in Puerto Aventuras. By all accounts, everyone had a lot of fun, found some great buys and the event was a great success! Thank you to the organizers, participants and guests.
