The 2nd Annual Seaside Rotary Chili Cook-Off was a roaring success!! 10 contestants with ten amazing chilis, nice breezy weather, a lovely setting and plenty of icy beverages to wash it all down, makes for a memorable event! Congratulations to Sonia Shankle DeLong and Tim DeLong; Team Gringo Down and winners of the People’s Choice Award. And congratulations to Team Pollo Boom who took home the trophy for Judge’s Choice!
Thank you to everyone who came out to enjoy the event and very special thanks to our celebrity judges, Heather Anderson, Angel Carrera, Graciela Maldonado and Greg Cosway (Winner of the 2017 Riviera Maya Chili Cook-Off). All the proceeds go to support good, local causes including the Puerto Aventuras Community Center in the poblado!
